Idiom : ‎TO PLAY IT BY EAR

Hi Everybody! To ”play it by ear” means you do not have a plan of action, preferring to deal with a situation as it develops or unfolds.

EXAMPLE: ”Do you have a scheduled itinerary for your vacation to New York City?”

ANSWER: ”No, we’re just going to ”play it by ear” and enjoy each day as it comes. There is so much to see & do in New York. I’m sure boredom won’t be a problem!” 🙂

Have a FANTASTIC WEEKEND!!! …all the best- Cindy
